PHY102 - Electricity and Magnetism

This is an elementary course on electricity and magnetism. In this course we try to understand the following topics.

• Electrostatics: Coulombs's law, Gauss's law, Laplace and Poisson equation, dipole moment, electric field inside matter, dielectrics.
• Magnetostatics : Biot-Savart law, Ampere's law, divergence and curl of magnetic field, magnetization in material
• Electrodynamics : Motion of charge particle in electric and magnetic field, electromagnetic induction, Faraday's law, Maxwell's equation.
