    Research Interest
  • Hi everyone, I am working with the remote sensing aspect of GHG modelling. Recent technological advancements in the use of satellite remote-sensing dedicated for the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions have opened new doorways to estimate the sources and sinks of carbon at regional scale and to reduce the uncertainties that are prominent with respect to India due to the existing paucity of in-situ observations. My research will focus on two major GHGs vis. Carbon Dioxide, and Methane using OCO-2, GOSAT and Sentinel-5p observations and utilize inverse modelling technique. The results will help to objectively investigate claims of emission reductions and the efficiency of reduction countermeasures, establishment of standards and advancement of technology.
