Optical Floating Zone Furnace-Crystal System Corp.


opticalThe optical floating zone furnace has a wide range of applications for the study of both single crystal growth and phase diagram. This type of furnace needs no crucibles, therefore, the chemical reaction between the melt and the crucible material should be avoided. Also this type of furnace should achieve the traveling solvent scheme which is needed for growing incongruently melting materials and solid solution with uniform compositions.












Tetra Arc Furnace-Techno Search Corp.


tetraTetra arc crystal furnace uses the Czochralski pulling method and four electric arcs to grow a wide range of metallic-conductive materials such as metallic compounds and high-temperature superconductors. By using four electric arcs it heats the materials up to 3000° C, this furnace provides easy operation and real time monitoring of the crystallization process via CCD camera and four monitoring windows.










Single Arc Melter


singlearcArc melter uses an electric arc to heat or melt the materials under argon atmosphere so that we can get a high purity polycrystalline sample.This also provides argon atmosphere and a vaccum upto 10^(-3) mbar.

Glove BoxThe Glove Box System is used for handling harmful elements or easily oxidising elements or their compounds under inert atmosphere.


















Laue Diffractometer-Photonic Science


laueThe system enables real time crystal orientation by recording live digital backscattered LAUE diffraction patterns.Combined with motorised single crystal rotation / translation, the system brings simpler and more flexible ingot and raw crystal orientation routines before and after cutting / slicing procedures.

X-Ray Diffractometer(XRD)


xrdPANalytical Empyrean XRD is a multi-purpose research X-ray diffractometer. It is unique in its ability to measure sample (powders and thin films films) on a single instrument without compromising data quality. This instrument can be switched between application setups in a fast and cost-effective way using PreFIX concept, with no system realignment, and no compromise on the quality of diffraction data.








Superconducting Quantum Interference(SQUID)


squidSQUID magnetometer is one of the most effective and sensitive ways of measuring magnetic properties. Device Vibrating Sample Magnetometer with the sensitivity of a SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) magnetometer. The SQUID VSM is equipped with a Pulse Tube Cooler which eliminates the need for liquid cryogens.









Physical Property measurement System (PPMS)


ppmsIt measures DC Resistivity, AC Transport (AC Resistivity, Hall Coefficient, I-V Curve, and Critical Current for superconductors), and Heat Capacity for small samples under user controlled magnetic field, pressure, gas composition, and temperature. The magnetic field may be programmed anywhere from 0 to +/- 90,000 Oersted and the sample's temperature can be programmed from 1.9 to 400 K.
