About me

How the brain works has always been a fascinating thing for me. What makes us creative, how do we imagine, from where our emotions come? Everything from memory to decision making, how all this works? My interest in neurobiology brought me to this neurogenetics lab that I have recently joined. I am very excited about the opportunity that I have in hand to explore and address questions related to this astonishingly complex organ whose capabilities are yet to be understood. Before joining this lab I obtained both my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Microbiology . Bachelors’ from RSN college (WBSU) and master’s from University of Pune. Apart from this, I enjoy listening music and visiting historical places.
