Texts:

Waler Rudin, Principles of Mathematical Analysis, McGraw-Hill. We will cover Chapters 1 through 7 and some selected topics from Chapter 8.

Course plan:

This course is an introduction to real analysis. The goal is to learn to read and write rigorous proofs of real analysis. Syllabus may be found in the Course content booklet.

Examination and grading:

There will be four exams: Two quizzes, one mid-tem, and one final examination. Each quiz will carry 10% of the total. Mid-term and final exams will carry 30% and 50% of total grades respectively.
