This hydrometeorological observatory is installed in IISER Bhopal campus, Madhya Pradesh. This observatory is equipped with automatic weather station that records rainfall, wind speed, temperature, relative humidity, evaporation, soil moisture at every 15 minutes interval. The soil moisture is recorded at different depths (10, 20, 30, and 40 cms). We also measure ground water level by using pressure transducer.
